Mind-blowing Chicken Soup Ingredients:

1 whole chicken

4 carrot sticks

4 celery stalks

2 large potatoes

1 large white or yellow onion

Salt, pepper, herbs, spices

Enough water to cover all ingredients in the pot

Optional: 1 teaspoon (or 1 cube) chicken bouillon

Tools You’ll Need to Make Mind-Blowing Chicken Soup:

Large pot

Strainer (hand-held)

Kitchen knife

Large bowl

Step 1: Chop the carrots, celery, potatoes and onion. We recommend cutting them in large pieces, but this recipe also works with small pieces. You’ll have to cut them into small pieces later anyway.

Step 2: Put the carrots, celery, potatoes, onion (and the chicken of course!) into your large pot.

Step 3: Fill the pot with water until all the ingredients are underwater.

Step 4: Heat the pot on high until the water boils, then turn the heat down to low. Simmer without a lid until the chicken falls from the bones.

As the soup boils, a layer of foam will appear. Just skim that away occasionally.

Step 5: Remove all the ingredients with your strainer and place them in a large bowl.

Remove the bones and chop the carrots, celery, potatoes and onion if you haven’t done so already.

Step 6: Add salt, pepper, spices and bouillon to taste.

Step7: Put the chicken and vegetables back into the to the large pot.

And you’re done. Now just get out the soup bowls and spoons and dig in!
